I'm not one for public speaking. If we were all in-person, my face would be bright red and there would be much laughter at my expense. Luckily we are not and i get to introduce myself via keyboard:
Hello everyone!!!
My name is Noah and I must admit I've been poking around here for quite some time; but I've finally registered and am itching to be a part of this awesome community. The comments and ideas I've witnessed here are truly inspirational. As aspiring writers, we are an ambitious people. That ambition might be hard for others to understand, so it's great to have a forum like this where we can all get together and speak the language that leaves others scratching their heads. You are all extremely gifted. And we all share the same internal drive to become even better. I'm new new here, and yet i feel entirely at home. I finished my first manuscript just this year, and if you're so inclined, you can find me at Groundbreaking press, or simply google me. There will be a brief synopsis of the story there, but i do think it's something right up your collective alley. While i do admit it to be somewhat intimidating, it's truly an honor to be amongst such similar ambition.

You already know this is a good place for writers, even a safe and friendly place.
And you may not know you would not be the only one here with a red face.
However as you look around do be careful, rooms can move and change with a blink and if you see a unicorn do be careful she can be snarky, sarcastic, satirical and sometimes down right mean.

Wow. Well, I'm not much of a fantasy writer, but I'll keep my eyes skinned for any mildly abrasive mythical creatures.
