In this thread, we talk about why we miss Ralphie.
I'm very glad Ralphie found a job she likes. I hope they're not working her too hard. And I miss her.
Who else keeps us on our toes the way she does? Motivates us to keep our sarcasm detectors in tip-top condition? Ensures the OoC thread gets posted to regularly?
And of course, there is but one source of Ralphie Luv®!

I also miss Ralphie. And also opening her Siren Call and seeing it's actually her calling, and not the boy with the poofy head.

I also miss Ralphie, not least because she's won initiative this round but never checks her E-mail in order to reply to game turns...

I'm not a newbie Frisco. You know me. It's Nick. This is the name I used when I first joined last June. With the posts combined from my username "Nick" I have over 2500 posts. That nearly rivals yours I might add.....
Technically, I've been here longer than you.

Well, Nick, I don't think newbie status has as much to do with time as it does with the fact that this whole time you haven't realized that when we refer to Ralphie's Rack, it has nothing to do with the forum.

LOL, Ic! I realized just after I posted the thread that sooner or later, someone would be obliged to make that joke. Thanks for volunteering.

Since people are getting me and sax mixed up, maybe we can make use of this.
Why don't we switch lives every once in awhile? I suggest during times when I have to change diapers.

I didn't expect everyone to like me, but I would appreciate it if everyone would at least refrain from claiming I don't exist...

I have to feed Ryan around 6:30. He usually makes a fill up right about then, so if you could stop by about 7, that would be great.

I'm almost no longer Ralphie the Carnie. But then I'll have to get a real job. I'm looking for something in the "sit around and syphon entire paychecks off of surfing the internet."
Let me know if you hear of anything.

You could write, not just a biography of Orson Scott Card, but also what affects his writings have on his readers, and about his readers in general. And we're his readers, so just try to understand us more (and how do you do that other than replies to our own posts?), and your problem is solved.

Yeah, there's a big market for this. The problem is that, while we're all just vain and egocentric enough to consider buying it, we're also cheap as hell.
Sara - Only for three more days. Then I get to wash the fleas and funk off for good.

I'm glad you included a light switch on your picture, Ralphie. There just aren't enough light switches on Hatrack. Viva light switches.
