I got this as a belated Christmas present this past weekend.

I'll let you touch me for a quarter.

You know, I haven't been tremendously impressed with Firefly yet. It's alright, but not something I'd go nuts over.

Now, Farscape, on the other hand, that's some good TV.

To avoid cluttering up the board with needless threads about christmas gifts, I thought I'd toss linkage up in here for mine.

Swords!

When I was living in NYC, the American Museum of Natural History had a showing of Larson's cartoons in a special gallery. They were big blow-ups of Far Side cartoons and people were just wandering through and laughing like crazy.

They had assigned one guard to watch over the room. Her single qualification: she didn't "get it." Not one of the cartoons made her laugh.

I even tried to explain one to her. She just shrugged.

I thought it was very sad. The saddest art exhibit I'd ever been to.

I wonder, does the Louvre hire guards who prefer Elvis on Velvet?

Oh well.

PC, I do believe you are a bit dangerously obsessed with those swords...

(stares at photos for a while)

Yes, why yes you are. In fact, I believe this is an intervention. You must give them to me, right now, and admit you have a problem.

...GIVE THEM TO ME!!

Hey, I resemble jeniwren's link.

My wife got me the original cartoon show on DVD. Yes, DVD. Apparently some enterprising person put the entirety of The Tick cartoon on DVD and sells it on eBay, until someone catches him anyway.

"You've got to suck that lozenge! Because if you don't, who will?"
