wow, that's the first time MPlayer wasn't able to handle a media file. I could see the first frame, but it wouldn't play.
the xVid codec is an exe, therefore I have no clue how I'd use it on Mac OS X. Too lazy to look for an mplayer-compatible xvid codec. Tell me if you find one

thanks, fugu. I always forget that I still have vlc kicking around.
Cool. Did he lose a bet or something?
BTW, that's one awesome quality codec for the size. I have to remember that one . Right now I have the Lubdub promo in 3ivx, and it's decent quality, 1 min long, and 4mb. This would be tiny.

The MPlayerOSX page, it claims the osx version just got xvid support on 12-16-2003. Which is odd as libavcodec has supported xvid on windows and linux for quite sometime.

I saved it to my computer and installed it. Why isn't it working? I now have this weird program on my computer.

Okay that was pretty hilarious...I wish I could have gone to Wenchcon.
My son was watching it with me when Nathan was swimming on the floor, or whatever it was, and he said "Oh, bwudder."

Okay, now that the video is public domain, there can be public outrage.
Did anyone else notice the guy reading in the background? HOW could ANYONE READ A BOOK with THAT going on? It boggles the mind!
