**Burninates Claudia Therese with all the fury mean Aztec God can muster** Slash admitted at GC that he can't breath fire. He just eats newbies. And AFR, this thread is only for 'alter-ego' burninations. Get an alter ego, pay me $5 and I'll take care of ya. Profit: $10

You know, you could count your food expenses for foods which enhance your burnination as a business expense. It would reduce your apparent profit margin, reducing your taxes. Just sayin'.

Good point. Should I start up a shelter LLC to shield any further taxes as well?

Well, we don't want the Burninator sued, now, do we? **files paperwork for Burninations R US, LLC. ** Now. Back to Bwuishness. Who is this 'Glaphyra" I need documentation that this is in fact an alter-ego. Same goes for you MPH. I need proof.

*slumps back in* See, now that's the problem. I have a few alter egos, but would you or anybody else recognize them as me? No, I don't think so. *slumps out again*

Don't some states require 2 or more members for LLCs, Dag? He could go in with Trogdor (who could be a silent partner, or not).

We only studied the UNIFORM LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY ACT, which is the model for most states, and it specifically allows LLCs with one or more members. I've heard of no state where more than one is required. Oh, for the name: quote: The name of a limited liability company must contain "limited liability company" or "limited company" or the abbreviation "L.L.C.", "LLC", "L.C.", or "LC". "Limited" may be abbreviated as "Ltd.", and "company" may be abbreviated as "Co.". Dagonee

Yep, some states require two. Here's the first verification that popped up:http://www.totaltaxsolutions.com/limited-liability.htm quote: Is there a Minimum Number of Members? Although the IRS allows an LLC with only one member, the state of California requires LLCs to have at least two members. A member of an LLC may be an entity other than an individual such as another LLC, corporation, partnership, or trust.

So really, you have to file two extra forms to get a one-member LLC in CA. QtB would be sole shareholder in Dummy Burninations, Inc. QtB and DBI are members of QtB, LLC, with QtB having a 99% ownership. Simple. Dagonee

Papa Moose -- even though I feel unworthy, here you go.. **burninates Moose** I'm not sure who Santa's Helper is. Dag and fugu... wanna go in with me on the venture? You could be managing partners. I'll give you a share each.

Don't you have a paper to write? Face it Trog. You're ancient history. Your burninations are cheap while mine are worth $5 each. Go away fore I get mad.

*clop clop* Are you going to answer the credit card question or not? I have a couple of coconuts to barter, but otherwise am short of cash. King Arthur, for all his castles and high minded morals, doesn't pay squat. I help them all, you know. Santa, King Arthur. None of them pay. *sigh*
