That's excellent.

The last thing I did in high school drama was to co-host a variety show put on by all the seniors. We had planned a series of Abbot and Costello sketches, with the highlight to be Who's on First. We practiced for weeks.

My co-host got sick the day before the show. We salvaged some of the sketches with replacements, but no one could learn Who's on First that fast.

I think the Shakespearean version is actually funnier than the original.

I agree, but I'm not sure it would be if the original didn't exist.

But would it have been as funny if we weren't already familiar with the original?

Great stuff, thanks.

ETA: Zounds, I recollected not that the refresh button is my most kind friend. And Dagonee hath to the punchline beaten me.

I've never quite understood how you folks have time for multiple forums. But more importantly I've always wondered why you wander back and forth between Sake River and Hatrack, what's over there anyway?
