Oh, I can invite missionaries around and try to corrupt them.
I can make a game out of it and see how quickly I can turning them into boozing, sex loving, coffee drinkers.

That's why they travel in pairs, Jebus. Unless you invite friends over, it's hard to tempt them both at once.Posts: 37449 | Registered: May 1999

So, a powerful knockout drug in the water / milk you offer one guy; a powerful aphrodisiac, or maybe Rohypnol, for the other.

Hmm. Actually, that raises an interesting question. Much faith derives from being told Bible stories, or whatever, by trusted people. Could missionaries duplicate that effect? If so, would that be real faith, and if not, how could you tell it from the other kind?

Aw, Annie, that particular statement wasn't actually off. It's not a complete picture, but faith can begin by being told about God by people you trust.
He wasn't wrong then. That doesn't mean he isn't wrong in other places, but he wasn't in that particular post.

Last time the subject of missionaries in ireland came up with jebus, he specifically asked for the female missionaries. I assume nothing has changed, right, Jeebs?

The last time I was there the missionaries had their hands full, helping a group of Nigerian refugees to get settled in and doing other public service projects.
Do you really want to waste their time?
