Any idea what I should do for a good burn? Say, one you can get from dislodging a poptart from a toaster?

there are products that help with nonserious burns but it kind of helps if you already have that at home. One is called Ocean Potion - it's a gel (you could be gellin' - yeah I read the other thread first).
If you have an aloe vera plant handy, break off a piece and squeeze some of the juice out of it onto the burn.
Or, run cool, not cold, water over the burn. You don't want it too cold, but the coolness helps soothe the burn.
If the burn is large or develops blisters immediately, you may want to seek medical attention.

It doesn't seem like a blister. It's just like the skin there has turned sorta kakhi colored and brown... Also it smells.

Does it hurt? It should. The best burn product I've ever seen is the second skin stuff. Its some sort of membrane that is extremely hydroscopic so its like 90% water. You cut little pieces and bandage it over the wound.
