Issue? What issue? I know the word, but I don't know what you mean... Can anybody tell me? It sounds VERY interesting!

OSC publishes an online magazine called The InterGalactic Medicine Show (IGMS). The first issue was started in October with updates throughout the quarter and the next issue hopefully is set to be started/released February 15. There is a link at the top of the page.

Ermm ... Not quite sure about the 'rules' of pay-pal, or of credit cards, but I have a debit/credit card and have used paypal numerous times, despite not being 18.

Uh. You can buy pre-paid "credit cards" at gas stations and some malls. Once you have one, you can pay through Paypal, no account necessary.

if necessary, i'm willing to purchase a couple dozen issues in order to see it sooner. i've already bought about a year and a half in advance in gift certificates.
so, are we not expecting to see it today then?

oh, i place no blame on the already burdened shoulders of OSC. what with all that he has so generously given us up till now, he is a saint even to offer more works for us to enjoy. i can not wait. any idea what the new Enderverse story will be?

Well, I guess I do have plenty to read now anyway. Right now I am reading The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith and Interview with a Vampire by Anne Rice (some combination).

I don't think so. I'm 13, and I have a joint account with my Dad, so he pays for it, but I still sign and such.

I noticed that there is a change to the IGMS page. No new issue yet, but now there is a "Current Issue" section and a "Past Issue" section. does this mean there is a new issue coming soon? i sure hope so.

Also, regarding the Paypal thing, you can get prepaid Visa's or some such in America and use Paypal with that if you're under 18, or so I've heard.

Well I can't read it for months since I'm Australian, under 18 and without a credit card whatsoever. Going out on a limb, but who wants to buy this one for me?

Woah, serious? Thanks! (((((vonk)))) Whoa...
As for your latter post: I've read the previews to each story and essay and review, etc. and the theme (Past/Alternate History + Fantasy?) is much better than the first issue since I can relate to it better. I've already got two I'm planning to recommend to certain people to introduce them to speculative fiction.
There's an actual Dissertaion about Science Fiction and Fantasy that seems really well introduced so far, and certainly, by the looks of it, would take up as much space as an entire print magazine.
IGMS is definitely worth way more than US$2.50, so I was quite surprised to see this new issue was the same price as the first, which I'd assumed was just a hooking price. I must work on my writing skills and send an appreciation letter to the editor, methinks.

I can't get it until wednesday afternoon. I have far too much work due on tuesday, and a test on wednesday, to give myself a distraction right now.
