I was just remembering some of the early times. Maybe all the gratitude stuff at church has been getting to me to. I just remember once I made this really needy post, and Pop replied with a hug for me. I'm pretty sure it was the only reply. That was so nice. And I'm so glad the Cards run this place.

I also read "Homeless in Hell" again last week. Thank you, thank you, thank you! That story literally changed my whole life. I don't know how many people there are out there that needed a speaking for the dead of Santa, but I forgave Santa, my mother, and eventually even my husband.

Yes, thank you.

pooka, you inspired me to reread "Homeless in Hell." One of the best shorts I've ever read.

Thank you for the reminder. I love that story, and should read it every year.

Which reminds me -- I need to read The Great Divorce again. It's been too long.

Thanks for editing that thread title. Unless it was the poster, in which case thank you.

Homeless in Hell WAS a great story! It's such a neat idea, and... I think it's probably one of my favorite "Christmas" story around.
