Well, this is my 200th post, and I must say, it took awhile to get here. About 3 years actually. When I first started posting, I posted a lot more frequently, then actually stopped coming here for the span of probably half a year before rediscovering it at some point in time. Since then I have posted mostly in the think of a lyric thread, but I also surface in any thread relating to excercise (ok, so maybe not all of them, but a lot) as I am a track freak and know a bit about working out and diets and stuff like that.
Let's see, 200 posts, in something over 1000 days, so I average a post once every five days, which isn't so bad, right?
The reason why I stopped posting the first time was because I was trying to keep track of all the threads, and it blew me away how quickly they exploded. I went from one extreme to the next, trying to read them all to not reading any. Those were the dark and gloomy days of my life. When I came back to hatrack (came back to the light) I settled into a pattern of just looking at threads that interested me, and began my lurking period.

Looking at my profile not much has changed over the last three years. I am still a student, I still enjoy my running (on the track team here at Brandeis, my senior year and 2nd year as captain) and I still enjoy reading.

So yeah, 200 posts... GO ME! [Smile]

As the member who joined just before you, congrats on your landmark post. I hit 200 around my second year here, though that has exploded lately. The 1400's are a good batch (You, Zevlag and I at least). Hope your thread read strategies continues to work for you.

(Congrats on 200, Paecival. As I've said before, lurkers rock.)

Percy,

Wow you did more over at Ornery? At least you came to my party this past summer. Hope I see you and your brother again next year.

Cool. Congrats on the 200!

Stick around. It's cool that You, Feyd, myself, are still here.

It's not "lurking".

It's being thoughtful and precise. (In your case anyway.)

Congrats!

Yey for poking your head up and shouting out.

Glad you went to the Boston Picnic, you'll never be a faceless lurker to me! I _know_ you have a face!
