Go to:

Tom Harkin Steak Fry

Notice there are "5 gallery pages". You want to click on the second one. In the top row, middle picture... you'll see Howard Dean shaking hands with my bald friend Paul, and me standing next to him on his left (in the orange "Hey Harkin, these steaks are Deanlicious" shirt). Fun new picture for my desktop!

That's the handsomest back of the head shot I've ever seen.

You should try to get him to squeeze your head next time. That would be cool.

It's more of a half side of head half back of head shot, but handsome nonetheless.

I may be going to see him this Sunday, even though I'm not exactly entirely sold yet.

Yeah, it's a terrible picture of me actually... [Smile]

I was so jealous that I didn't get the eye contact that my friend got. I was so surprised that they just happened to have that very moment up on the website that I had to post it here out of sheer excitment. LOL

He had a good handshake.

Dean is a passionate speaker in person. That must have been great. I think I saw that guy on CSPAN at the same event.

I did it. I made my first political contribution ever. To Dean. $30.

It's very exciting and strange, to me.

Pay no attention to tabithecat. My sources tell me--and they are very good sources--that she was THERE at the steak fry, and only watched the CSpan part a week later. At my house. [Smile]

Yeah. I'm hoping that I'll be available to canvass in January. I did for Bill Bradley my sophomore year, and it was cool being a Politically Active person. Too bad Bill Bradley's not such an awesome public speaker. Oh well....
