I'm a full-time Mom with four kids. I run a small part-time business with a partner that sells gifts and accessories for wedding and baby showers.
In the fall I'll start at college - I want to get my undergrad and masters in English and teach.

I take care of my mother, who is in her late 70s and recently had a small stroke. I do private tutoring in English, history, anthropology, political science, and most of the other social sciences. And I write and read a lot.

I manage a bookstore and sell stuff on Ebay with my husband. I hope to make a living just off the Ebay so we can afford allowing me to stay home when we have kids. (which better be soon before I go CRAZY!)

When Im not on Hatrack? I pretend that Im on Hatrack, or mentally write stories about people from hatrack, or sleep and dream about hatrack, or write songs about Hatrack....
Other than that I eat food and watch TV and read books.

Usually I'm a college student. I stay up all night writing papers and run around acting crazy all day except when I fall asleep in class.

I'm a full-time glorified file clerk for The Man's Cousin's Attorney. Fortunately, full-time only means eight hours out of my day, so I can spend the rest of the day figuring out what I *really* want to do with my life.
Oh, and I read, pretend that I have the storytelling capability to write a comic strip, study martial arts, and terrorize my former pseudo-frat house.

My title is Senior Cost Accountant, but that is very little of what I do.
I am accounting (accts payable through financials) and human resources (payroll and employee benefits). I am also part time receptionist while someone is on maternity leave. I wear many hats!

I am a part time Santa, Clown, Easter Bunny and Bingo Caller. I sell Bungee Runs and Sumo Sets to high school lock ins, church fairs, and company picnics.
I've had motorized toiletts in my office, and had to interview visiting hypnotists. I use to work for a real magician, but he sold out to corporate people from Atlanta best known for their ability to play blue's music.

uhm, i *was* a college student a couple months ago, majoring in anthropology and minoring in dance. i am back home helping my mother organize the house and "do art" and am getting back into classes with my friend/dance teacher whose company i performed with and modern classes i substitute taught during my *other* break from school. i am preparing to possibly go on an eighteen month mission for the lds church. for the moment i am a very difficult girlfriend for a very frustrating young man. i am as of yet unemployed, though i am supposed to help a lady paint her bedroom for some quick cash. i occasionally brush my teeth, and don't eat as nearly as much icecream as i did while working my last job. isn't it interesting that in our culture one is defined by what they "do?" "who is that?...okay, but what do they DO?" Posts: 3936 | Registered: Jul 2000

I've worked hard over the last 13 years to perfect the fine arts of both procrastination and skipping classes. As my college career winds to a close, I look back on my work and find that I am proud at the accomplishments I've made in these fields.

I don't believe there are any anti-heroes anymore, but I agree that TomD is both flawed and lovable---so he must be something else.
I'm the first cousin once removed who thinks he is smarter and more eccentric than he actually is and recognizes this and so is grateful that he is part of an indulgent family.
