Anybody else feeling about that way?
Maybe I'm just tired, I don't seem to do well on four hours of sleep.

Most people don't do well on four hours of sleep. Loss of sleep effs anyone up.

Take one benadryl and catch some zzz's. [Smile]

I do just spectacularly on four hours of sleep.
in fact, i do spectacularly on ANY amount of sleep. Pick an amount. Ive done it and been just fine.

On a less self satisfied note, im sorry sun. Feel better. [Frown]

Hints for going to sleep:

Watch the fishing/golfing/chess tournament channel. Zzzzzzz.....

If you have a PDA, play games on it in the dark with the sound turned off. If you don't have a PDA (or a Gameboy or some handheld game device), play games on the PC with the sound turned off. Do NOT do anything else (like check email, etc). Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeepeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....

Do Meditative Breathing. Breathe in, counting to ten (in your head). Hold for ten beats. Breathe out all the way to ten. Be sure to have a focus image in your head (a shape or color, nothing too exciting). If this does not make you sleepy, it will probably just make you feel better. This helped when I was in a car accident and later, got me through labor with my kid (no drugs, either).

Remember that Hatrack is here for you. That always helps me. Maybe you could click around foobonic for a while--seeing the happy/goofy/pretty people who post here is nice.

It's true. My friend Finn nailed me with that one.

See, he was showing a couple of us something cool on a computer in the psych lab. He boots up the computer. Screen is blank.

So I say, "Yeah, that's REALLY cool."

And he looks up and says, "One more comment like that and I'll give you a hug."

[Eek!] I was speechless. My other friend was laughing her ass off. I still couldn't talk!

Then Finn said, "Look! She can't even SPEAK now!"
