I tried one of these the other night. Different, but pretty good. They're made by pouring a half glass of champagne and then pouring a half glass of stout over the top. You're supposed to pour the stout such that it doesn't layer, but apparently my technique wasn't quite what it should be.

I used an asti spumante with Mackeson's XXX Stout.

Anybody else ever tried one of these?

No! No-one else has EVER tried one of those.

Stop rubbing it in!

First we hear about your pool, your shorts and your beer. Now this!

Fine, we get it. You lead a charmed life. All hail zgator!

How's fatherhood going these days? I wish I could've met the little z before I left town.

Say howdy to Mrs. Zgator...

If it makes you feel any better, I was wearing socks by the pool. It was about 65 and my feet were a bit chilly. And when company's not staying at the house, I drink Bud Light.

The little guy didn't seem all that impressed with Christmas. I guess since he was with us when we bought his presents, he wasn't real surprised.

I still think the wrapping is the best part of the present.

My therapist says this might be the root of my inability to have meaningful relationships with women. [Razz]

Given the alternative, I would have to agree.

The question is, who's clothes.

Reminds me of a cartoon I saw. It shows all these women examining racks of empty hangers at what looks like a garage sale. There's this naked guy sitting on a throne behind them -- waiting to take their money, I suppose. The caption reads: The Emperor's Old Clothes

Why would I try one of those, and waste an otherwise perfectly good Stout?

Bob, just remember to curl up the decorative string on the present (you know, you run the scissors along the string and it winds up all tightly curled . . . )

I think I'll stop now - this is sounding bad . . .

wanders off to pour a glass of cheap wine, since that is what is affordable at the moment . . .

(ack - spelling)
