I was just in chat, and we realized that three of us were going to be in Colorado next week.

Anyone else going to be within driving distance of Boulder around Christmas that would be interested in having a little get together? [Smile]

We were thinking maybe ROTK would be a good idea. [Wink]

Ruth and I will be in Colorado after Christmas, but I'm not sure if we'll have the time for a get-together.

I think that probably would be too late, sorry. Narr and Temposs are only going to be there until the Monday after Christmas. Maybe next time?

I haven't checked into what day would work best for me yet, but we could brainstorm what we want to do. [Smile] ROTK is a possibility, but I don't know if I will have seen it with my family yet, and I was waiting to see it first with them. Any other ideas? Food is always good. Or you know, we could go bowling or something. What do you guys think?

Care me not, save that it be ist best that we did postpone our meeting such that the heavnly bells of Christmas did not distort the trumpet calls of our visitation.

Does that mean you couldn't do anything before Christmas, Hobbes? Because I am thinking that either the 23rd or the 29th would work best for me, and I don't know when on the 29th Narrativium and Temposs would be leaving. I have to ask to make sure, but I think my dad will probably want to do family stuff from Christmas Eve until Sunday. I don't think he has the day before Christmas Eve or the Monday afterwards off from work though.

[Smile] Silly Hobbes.

So, earlier in the day on the 23rd might work for you? I'm just wondering because chances are the 29th won't work for Narr and Temp.

The morning of Tuesday the 23rd will probably work for me. The evening of Saturday the 27th (after 6:00) will also work but Sunday the 28th is a maybe, since I may be going snowmobiling that day.

We'd love to have you if you want to come, Ravenclaw! [Big Grin] It looks like the morning of the 23rd will be the best, but no one else has made any suggestions. We could go out to breakfast maybe? Brunch if we want it to be later (since Temposs is going to be in Longmont). There's always The Buff restaurant that serves good breakfast. I don't know, what do you guys want to do?

I discovered that my Christmas-eve-eve dinner was cancelled, so the 23rd would work any time of day. However, I'd like to know soon since relatives are coming to visit for a while and it's nice to warn them when you'll be gone. [Smile]

Does anyone have any input as to what we want to do? We can do basically anything, up to and including playing games at my house (my mom's invitation [Smile] ). So, what shall it be?

And the fire did descend down upon Hobbes and di sit upon his brow as a crown of flame. And Hobbes did look forth among the people and declare unto them "keep thine wishes and spread good cheer among the children of men, for I do not care what we do at out meeting."

OK, we have a situation on our hands. I talked to Temposs, and he actually doesn't get in to Colorado until late in the afternoon on Tuesday. So, the problem is I'm not sure if the 26th or 27th works for me (my dad doesn't get many days off work and we were going to spend those days together), I'm going to talk to my family about it so we'll see.

Hobbes and Temposs are both ok with the 26th or 27th. What about you Narr? Or what time on Monday do you have to leave?

(Edit to change dates [Embarrassed] )

I can possibly do the evening of the 25th (probably after 6:00), or the 26th during the day. But if we do that, I need to know as soon as possible, so I can adjust other plans.

Well, Christmas is definitely out, so it looks like the 26th will have to be the day. I haven't talked to my dad yet, but I could probably manage to come to something on the 26th as long as it was not very long.

As far as what we do, I talked to Temposs and we thought it might be fun to go to the Cheesecake Factory for cheesecake and then wander around Pearl Street. Any objections? Any problems with Cheesecake? [Razz] There's plenty we could do if there are people that don't like that idea.

Edit: [Embarrassed] I totally meant the 26th or 27th in my earlier post! The 25th is Christmas! I'm a little silly... Sorry!

You don't like cheesecake, Hobbes! That's crazy. Well, you could always order an appetizer or something. They also have a wide assortment of daquiris that you can order (virgin-style of course [Wink] ). Or else we could go somewhere else. Do you have any ideas?

Cheescake sounds fine, besides which if we're just going to go wander around Pearl it isn't exactly devoid of other food shops. [Wink]

I'll keep Ravenclaw updated certainly. [Smile]

So, once we get the ok from Narr we'll be set for the 26th. Now we just need a time. It seems cheesecake would be good in the early afternoon. (Really, when is cheesecake not good? [Wink] )

Any preferences as to what time?

The 26th is fine. The earlier, the better, because I have to be home by 4:00. And it looks like I'll probably have access to a car.

Cool! How about 1:00? Meet at the restaurant. I think that would be best. We'd have plenty of time to eat and wander around Pearl Street, and you could get home by 4:00, Narr. Temposs has said that the 26th would work. I'll just have to try and get a hold of him by then to give him details.

[Big Grin] This will be fun!

Oh, and Merry Christmas! [Smile]

Narrativium and Temposs (if you check this before you leave), Hobbes said he was probably going to be early and that he would get the table under 'Hobbes'. So, if you can't find us at the front of the restaurant, that's where we'll be. [Smile]
