Someone want to give me a task to do? They moved call priorities again yesterday, and I'm on low priority in taking calls. Which means 1 call every 3 hours or so.

A few rules:

1. I can not leave my desk.
2. The resources I have: internet, notepad, AIM, pen and 1 sheet of paper, and a Mountain Dew.
3. Nothing that is immoral.

Please, please, make it something somewhat creative and that you think I could actually do it.

Or just give me a link that I could spend a good 30 minutes at.

Brainstorm ideas for a short fiction story. If you find a good one, start writing it.

watch trailers if you can,

read free books or more free books.

Surf all the news pages (news.google.com, cnn.com, news.bbc.co.uk, slashdot.org,...)

remember some weird topic you always wanted to research. i've wasted countless hours today on reading articles about cirque du soleil and articles by the feminist stripper (some small silhouette drawings).

Play games on games.yahoo.com or crossword puzzles online.

JonnyNotSoBravo wants a working, non-biased definition of intelligence plus a way to actually test it for real.

That oughtta keep you busy for a while. [Wink]

::thinks::

Are you stupid? yes or no

Circle one.

Those that can recognize their own stupidity are the smart people.

There. Now, what's next?

Read free online screenplays.

And, if you've seen the movie, decide why the director changed certain bits, or left bits out.

Man....when I first read your rules, I thought #3 said "Nothing that is immortal".

Oh well. Are you interested in the new Mars lander at all? Could kill a while looking at the new pics if you are...just go to www.nasa.gov and click on the M2k4 flash link.

Yes, the NASA site has been a friend of mine, lately. AOL has news links to it all the time. A coworker and myself spent one work day watching a screen that told us the crafts location.

I especially like the Hubble Telescope part. Interesting pictures.

Bring an out-of-copyright book with you and type it for Project Gutenberg. They'll love you.
