My friend is making a movie about this story. Here's the details:
"Continuity" is a 7-minute short film closely adapted from Julio Cortazar's "Continuidad de los Parques." The script is complete, and shooting will hopefully take place on a Saturday afternoon in late February or early March at locations within a one-hour radius of Utah County.
There are three acting parts in the movie, those of characters named "The Reader," "The Woman", and "The Lover." The part of The Lover is already filled, therefore this call is for the other two parts:
The Reader is a businessman in his late 30's or early 40's. He is married to a younger woman, yet finds more comfort in his business and material pleasures. The Reader must perceive the look of being in the lower portion of the upper class.
The Woman is a woman in her late 20's or early 30's. She is married, yet she is having an affair with The Lover, who is several years her junior. She is beautiful and desirable, yet she appears worn out by her failed marriage, and by time in general.
If you are interested in applying for a part, please send your description and a head-shot to Tim Boisvert (timthebignerd@hotmail.com). Also, if you know anyone who is interested in one of the parts, please refer them to Tim. If you're not sure if you fit the part, give it a try. There's no harm in trying!

I'm Tim, the one making the movie. It really is an awesome short story and will be a great short film. Read the story if you never have, and if you fit one of the parts, I'd love to work with you.

I wish I was near Utah County. I am a business man in my late 30's, so I can play one in the movies.

Okay, fine. You look like a teenager with a goatee and an old man gut.
I've been pretty good. The holidays were nice and this semester's really good so far. How's life for you?

Business building -- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am to 11 am.
you?
Jon Boy -- The gut is not that bad, it just doesn't make me look as youthful as in years past. Glad you had a good time during the holidays. I'm still planning on inviting you over for an Xbox night.
