The scene: the near future. The setting: a popular fast-food restaurant. The time: lunch.
"Hi, I'd like a number 3, with a large Coke, and mega-size it, please."
"I'm sorry sir, we don't mega-size our meals anymore."
"Really? Huh. Okay, just give me another large fry."
"I can't do that either, sir. Frankly, you don't need it."
"Excuse me?"
"Could you turn around for a moment, sir? Thank you. Hmm. No, I'd say a small fry is all you need. Better hold the cheese on the burger, too."

Dasani bottled water is a coca cola product.
For some reason I read the slogan as "PULL it down, Fatty." Wasn't sure what that was all about, but I chuckled and let it pass.

The "That's insane!" line was indeed supposed to be on its own, thanks. Also all my quotes got changed to single apostrophes, for some reason. All is now fixed.

(I saw a Slider's episode that started like this. You couldn't get an order of cheese fries without a doctors note. Your bit is better.)

Careful MEC, the "soy-Brazil nut burger" actually exists. I did a search for "healthy burger" to get ideas and found that one. Shudder.

That was great Chris, and sadly enough it is likely the direction things will take as litigation forces companies to take responsibility for things they should never have to deal with.

Eek! You can find links to all of my previous columns here. Just don't look at the home page, I haven't updated it since last year. Yeesh.
