Isn't he cute, Stormie? He's smart enough to weave in and out of the mountains, avoiding the shearers for 6 years.
That's pretty warped.

You wouldn't think something with the size and shape of a giant, mobile afro would be that adept at avoiding things.

And deep inside all of that fur, they will find not a sheep, but the Taco Bell chihuahua!

They didn't. Non-domestic sheep-like animals shed their coats, if I'm not mistaken. The domestic sheep has been bred by humans to produce a coat that must be shorn (stronger, longer fibers=better wool for yarn, etc.)

PSI, one of the New Zealand articles notes that another shepharder has saved a chunk of wool he took from a ewe who'd avoided being sheared for seven years. She was described as "stumbling" and "pretty blind" from the wool in her eyes.

After all, she'd been on the lam for a long time. [Big Grin]

I hate coming upon a pun thread after all the good puns have been taken! I'd just steal somebody else's, but if I got caught I'd have to go on the lamb.

Ha! Am I a card or what?

You just klnow after this shearing he is going to be so embarrassed I bet all the sheap ladies really dig the guys who can avoid being sheared. I feel for the guy, especially as I am so often tol;d to get a haircut, and shave.

*hides from crazy shearing people*

Huh. Well, sndrake, most of those puns had alredy been made, so if you were trying to take a shot at the people who originally made them by calling them baaaad, I expect you at least grazed them.

Okay, that one was a stretch, but how else would you work "graze" into the thread?
