Currently, I've just finished taking my Cat6 test for Chemistry, thats all I've been doing this entire week...
I basically just drew pictures on the scantron, a little question mark, then a flower, then a butterfly, scantrons can be pretty addictive sometimes...
I need to get a life.

Waiting for some fabric to dry so I can cut out a dress I'm sewing for my daughter.

Searching online for ribbon for a patriotic themed outfit I'm doing for an Ebay theme auction I'm participating in with several other Ebay sewing moms.

Reading hatrack and my Ebay group board while in between browsing for ribbon.

California Standards test. Given every year to K-12 students to see how much they know and if teachers are doing their jobs. Actually this is the only test I tried to have fun in because I hate chemistry, no matter what I do to understand it, I still can't. Its just not really in me. I did pretty good in the other subjects though.
California'n kids like us are constantly BOMBARDED wit hreally useless tests that do nothing but waste our parent's tax money. like that high School Exit Exam, it was soooooo stupid. I didn't even have to guess to pass it WITH REALLY HIGH SCORES. We're sopposed to take this test to see if we really have the necessary knowledge to receive the diploma. After I took it, I just wanted to fry alive the person that came up with such a ridiculous idea.

I've been trying to stay away from my computer.

Oh, and I read the whole of The Princess Bride today. It was even better than I expected. Absolutely amazing stuff, but now I don't want to watch the movie. How can it live up to this amazing book?

Well, I'm sitting at work...flitting around on Hatrack.
I've been working on a music project with my friend Jeremy. We've founded a little choir in the Downriver area of Metro Detroit. We have about 20 people, working up to 32. Currently we are in residence at a little non-denominational christian church. Currently we are doing mostly classical and religious-classical music. Hopefully when we get bigger and better we can start doing more secular and folk pieces, but for the moment we must please our landlords. [Wink]

Not that I mind! I LOVE old religious-classical music...it's some of the most pure and beautiful music there is...in idea and in hearing.

My suggestion, watch the movie, if you're not satisfied, go to bar so that the "Ones" can make you forget...Another option is to go with a hypnotist so that he can make you forget, or get laid to make you forget, or go to Disneyland and get on the "Small World" ride as much as you can until you're so mentally traumatized, you forget. I love the book, but in some ways I like the movie better. A little bit too much of Goldman's negativity seeps through into the book and sours the tone a tiny bit.

The book is brilliant. It's funny. I recommend it.

But see the movie too. The movie is wonderful in some of the same ways, and in some different ways as well.

Trying to make the speakers work so I can work on some art for the Annual Meeting.

*jiggles wires* Come on, speakers!

I need new speakers. I shouldn't have to chant a spell every time I put a CD in.

I've been living in the animation lab. Yay, story rewrite number 7! How can you possibly need so many story rewrites on a 3-5 minute comedy filled with gag humor?

Thats pretty freakin hard, I'm not saying violin is easy, but I think piano is a little bit harder than vilolin, since when do you do piano?

I only play a little bit. I started when I was younger (about 7?), but I didn't care for it much, so I only got up to about level 3.
I know about 3 or 4 good songs to play, and that's it. If I feel like I want to learn it, I work on it, but otherwise I can't really play.
[Smile]

(violin is pretty cool! I used to want to play that, too. It sounds so beautiful!)

Oh yeah, that happens to me sometimes too.
I started to play only a few years ago, but I'm getting the hang of it, and I practise as much as I can because I love the way the violin sounds, and I'd feel really proud if It was me making that lovely sound . So far, I kindda suck, but thats only because I need to advance in my technique.
