I just sent you an email. Unfortunately, I was leaning over my husband in the Stratolounger, and ... well, you'll see. [Smile]

For you, Tom, in all its steamy hot glory:

quote:
Oops!

AnnaJo, I accidentally erased your telephone number.
(Actually, my husband tickled me, and I fell over on
top of him, bashing my shin on the Stratolounger and
reflexively pressing down on the "7" ... but you
didn't need to know that, did you? *grin)

My address:
[deleted]

I live just off "the beltline," which is the major
highway (Hwy12/14) that loops around south of town
from east to west (& v.v.). It's easy access to my
play.

Where is your show? Where will you be keeping the
dogs?

Like most of my life, the details are much less intriguing than the big picture as seen from afar. David was indulgent in his eyebrows-raised kinda way when he read it (after my giggling), but he did seem rather affronted at first. Turns out he took umbrage at the "7."

I just got called into work (I'm on backup shift), and so it'll be pager or cell from 7am until 5pm, then pager or home phone from 6:30pm on. Anytime is fine.

I probably won't be accessible from 5pm until 6:30pm, but you can try. Before 5pm use cell, after 6:30pm use landline.

(My cell doesn't work where I live, as we are on the other side of a big hill. Thus, there is no guarantee of reaching me via cell after I leave work. I am, however, available on landline at night, but as I will be puttering about between home and work, it's anyone's guess whether the call will go through on the cell -- depends on where I am amongst the hills. I can always call you back, though. [Smile] )

Noemon: Indeed. [Smile]

Got your message last night. I'm sorry I didn't hear my phone. We were in the convertible with the top down. If you ever want to start on those dreds you talk about, riding in a convertible is a good way to do it!

You also sounded so sleepy I wasn't going to call back. Figured you needed your beauty sleep [Wink]

I didn't quite catch everything about your work schedule, but my plan was to get to Wisconsin mid afternoon, find out if Jake took Best of Breed (which he should) see what time he's showing in the Herding Group (guestimate time 4pm) watch him, and then come hang out with you guys for a while, either including dinner out somewhere or after dinner for desert. Which ever works best for you.

Once I know if and what time he's showing it clarifies my plans but unfortunately the earliest you find that out is around 2pm when they release the order of the Group judging. If you wanted to see Jake show (and he takes Breed which is always an "if") The Saturday afternoon Group judging would probably be the most interesting to watch. Sunday is always more crazed because most the people are packing and leaving while the few lucky ones have to stay to the bitter end but don't have time to talk, because they want to leave asap after the judging to get home too.
This describes exactly where I'll be. (There should be a map if you click on the pdf document.)
