Here's how it works. Either post a link to a decent, full-body picture of yourself or post a detailed description of your coloring, features, and figure. Then post the color that you would like to wear, length preferences, and favorite designer (if you have one). I will then post a picture of the outfit (complete with hair, makeup, and jewelry) that I recommend and you are free to break my heart and reject it or do the right thing and accept it and look fabulous.

BTW, I still haven't decided between the Oscar

http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/kira_marx/detail?.dir=/80d1&.dnm=dffa.jpg

and the Carolina

http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/kira_marx/detail?.dir=/80d1&.dnm=39a0.jpg

I'm leaning toward the Oscar.

Go for the cane, T. Trust me on this one.

here is a pic of me in the most formal thing I own. I like long, twirly skirts and whimsy kind of stuff. I also dig modesty, but I've been known to wear sleeveless tops have some kind of coverup with it (see that red skirt? The belt thing is actually a wrap that I wore with a matching sleeveless top for my senior prom). As far as coloring, mary kay 100 (about the palest color they have) matches my face perfectly, and I have blue eyes. And I like wearing my hair up on formal occasions.

I'd already commented on my ideas here

Its probably the only way I'd look semi decent as I'm short, dumby, pale skinned with mousey brown hair - the don't do designer for the likes of me!

You're breaking my heart, Nathan. [Razz]

cochick, double- [Razz]

TC, no Charlie Brown shirt.

sarcasticmuppet, could you be more specific about whimsy? Do you mean Bjork whimsy, Cameron Diaz whimsy, or another, better kind? I have a couple of things in mind already. BTW, you chose the only red shade that I like on fair-skinned blondes.

I'm about 5'4', have long (LONG... my pic doesn't do it justice), curly red hair, very fair skin... Like muppet, I like long flowing skirts and such (I adore them... I have about 30), not anything really tight fitting, and certainly nothing short. Anything else you need to know? Here's a reference picture, but it's not a very good one... I need to get a new one up there, I don't like this one much.

Nathan, too bad you're going the Jim Carrey route b/c this is what I picked out for you.

Ooh, fashion advice.

I love the Caroline, Mrs M! Maybe I could wear it if you choose the Oscar?

I have pale skin, very black curly hair that was very short but is now just an annoying length as I grow it out and hazely green eyes. I'm also short-ish.

And I have no waist.

Think you can work with that?

Oh my goodness.

I have dark blond/brown hair, blue-green eyes, am 5'8", fair skin with freckles, and need something that covers my shoulders and has at least cap sleeves. Here's a picture: http://www.foobonic.com/albums/usr-hatrack-jatraqueros/aae.jpg

imogen, you made my decision for me. You would look stunning in the Caroline. But, you will have to wear VERY high heels (at least 3.5 inches). And your hair very similar to the models.

Raia, how about this one? It's from the Michael Kors Spring RTW collection.

http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/kira_marx/detail?.dir=/80d1&.dnm=3db8.jpg

SO, I'm not exactly sure, which is why I put my pics on Yahoo.

Kat, I'm going to have to think about it for a little bit. I can't decide whether to go stunning-soft or stunning-severe.

Gold high-heeled sandals, Raia. No nail polish. Still mulling over earrings - possibly chandelier. Makeup will be very natural.

imogen, I'd go with a French manicure. No necklace, big(ish) bracelet and really spectacular earrings. Dramatic makeup.

Edit to save time.

OK after much messing around my link above actually takes you to the right page now - for some reason it's not the right post - the one I'm referring to is the very last one on page 2 if you're interested.

Anyway after much thought however I think I'd prefer to have something along these lines

Gown style but in purple fabric with gold trim and with a sweetheart neckline (this pictures not that flattering but I look good in this style - when fitted of course). It must have the wench belt too as shown in the first picture.

Of course if I'm going for this style I'd have to have a matching Cloak (Black with purple & gold trim).

P.S. I adore this website - I'm convinced I'm getting my wedding dress from here - never mind its in the US and I live in the UK - oh and the other small detail of having no-one to marry either.

I'm very very tall.

I have the very short, Jamie Lee Curtis haircut, light brown, fair coloring, green eyes. I've got great long graceful fingers for very large rings. [Smile]
Here's a picture of me before the haircut.

I also need sleeves...cause I'm a Marmon. [Big Grin]

I love the dress you picked out for muppet. That's a gorgeous one for her coloring.

d_h, no, you can't and yes, it is.

Kat, I'm so glad you like it. I'm thinking your hair in a loose knot at the base of your neck and soft, dewey makeup. I'm not sure about any jewelry. Definitely no necklaces. High-heeled sandals, probably black metallic.

fallow, you might have to do a couple of quick changes. Give me a pic and let me think about it for a while.
