Hey all you intelligent Jatraqueros: If you could describe the best of the 80s in a sentence, what would your sentence be? Would it be a movie quote? A song lyric? Something from politics?

So far, Lost Ashes has the best quotes. I'm looking for positive lines, believe it or not. Some seed ideas for a promotional piece I have to write. I have The 80's Game on my desk, but the trivia in there tends to be way too trivial. I'm just wondering how to encapsulate the 80s in a sentence and keep it positive.

Punwit, that quote is the headline on the second page of my baby book. I was released from the hospital on January 26th 1986, the day challenger exploded, born six days earlier. So my one sentence description of the eighties would be "goo goo ga ga" though I was a pretty literate baby, so more likely "goo shakespear, ga television"

I was born in 1985, lived in Maryland for 10 months, went to Japan, and didn't come back till 1990. I truly did not experience the 80's in any way like most of you did. The 80's in my perspective was Nintendo, and Tokyo modeling jobs.
