I just can't believe my own eyes anymore .

I have faith that someone on hatrack can help me with a desktop question. My computer desktop is only letting me have three rows of icons-- one at the top, middle and bottom. The icons can be close together, but only in those three rows.

It looks like this:
quote:
......

......

......

Instead of what I am used to:
quote:
..
..
..
..
.
.
.
.

Does anyone know how to help me get my desktop back to normal?

I have got a lot of computer help on Hatrack, so I wanted to give something with my request. I hope you like the optical illusion.

*goes off to ponder what I can trust*

I can't help you but that thing is AWESOME.

EDIT: What's even more bizarre is after I've got all the dots to disappear, and I move my eyes the circle of dots is still imprinted on my brain, presumably because I have got rid of them through that way, and the dots are green.

EDIT: If you pick a pink dot to watch not only does the "circling dot" go green but all the other pink dots disappear except for the one you're watching, which only goes green when the "circling dot" goes "over" it.

Cool.

And I'm assuming you already made sure the "lock items on desktop" or "auto arrange" are both turned off?
