I was listening to NPR's All Things Considered (as I usually do when I'm by my computer) and I heard this story on a French film that is opening in New York and Los Angeles. Has anyone else heard of it? What caught my ear was the absolutely beautiful boys choir. They say that the film beat Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter in the French box offices. And I really want to see it. One of you lucky people either in New York or Los Angeles has to go see it and report back...please?

This apple site is a good site for trailers. They compare the film to Mr. Holland's Opus in it's plot, and the music does in fact sound beautiful. It'll be out to all the artsy theaters soon, we have one of those theaters down the street from me, I'll let everyone know how it is if someone from LA or NY doesnt beat me to it.

I'll have to see if its showing anywhere near me. I'm quite interested. Mr. Holland's Opus is one of my favorite sad movies ever, so I hope this one is kinda like that.

I saw this trailer and died. Immediately, I wanted to see it. A few days later a friend started a sentence with "there's this movie we have-" and I broke in and said "I KNOW!"
It was The Chorus.
