My work has posted a constest for Oct 31st. A "Napoleon Dynamite" Dance Off. Whoever is the most "spirited" dance is going to win 250 dollars.

I signed up with 6 other people thus far.

The question:

Do I do the Dynamite and risk doing what other people might do? Or do I go Novak on their hineys?

Any tips on how to be spirited, or should I just redo WenchCon's Interpretive Dance '04?

SWEEET!

I have no advice, I'd say dance like Max from my theatre class but there's no way to describe it. It's pretty amazing.

And there better be videos.

And so I won an HBO'S ROME Bath Experience!!!

A bathrobe.
A pair of slippers.
A towel.
Soap/Candles/Salts.

This goes into the "Disappointing Prizes" pile. [Razz]

Sadly, no video. I kicked mundo bootay. Enough where I can actually use those words.

Lets see if I can describe this in words, to the best of how I remember it.

From hence forth, this shall be down as the Mormon White Boy Hustle.

I start out looking at the audience, sunglasses on, right hand pointed the Gods of Rock in their magestic Halls of Glory. Left had pointed the other Gods of Rock. The Gods of Rock that sold their souls to bring the people amazing other worldly licks on the guitar.

The music starts. The beat takes over, and I start bouncing with it. The hand pointed upwords then curves inward, sending a ripple down to the torso, and out to the other hand. The ripple then goes through the other way.

Jump. Jump. Feet cross, half twirl. Arms cross against body, grabbing the torso.

Right hand goes up in a 90 degree angle from the floor. Bounce three times going counter clockwise. Bounce three times going the other way.

Uh oh, look out... time for the robot, followed by the Batman Cha Cha, which is making a peace sign with both hands, pointing them away from the crowd and dragging them one by one across your eyes a couple of times.

Ready for this? The lawn mower. Thats right, I did the lawn mower.

Is he? Is that... YES IT IS!! He's doing DDR!!! Wowwie!! And he's mixing in some River Dance!

I then kick off the shoes and this is when I really win the crowd. Moonwalk. MOOOOOOOON WAAAAAAALK. Turn around and do it again. Grab the belt and holler. Yeah. The crowd cheered.

Back to a little DDR as I stall for time to think of what next.

Oh yeah...

Grab the left ankel with your left hand and the back of your head with your right. Pull back on leg and head, then push forward and back forward and back.

Spin on butt.

Belestra and potanando.

Spin, spin spin. Macarana.

It's time for THRILLER!!! Thiller night. Make claws with your hand and swing clockwise, then take 3 steps to your left. Counterclockwise with the arms, then 3 steps to your right.

Howl.

You are done.

That would be really funny if it weren't so true.

Really.

Do you have insurance?

I tried your dance and ended up in the emergency room.

Any lawyers in Hatrack? I'm suing! I want nothing less than the Roman Bath Pack.
