Now, we already knew they were working on something related to GitS, but here's an announcement saying they're going to premiere the trailer next weekend!

Somebody in another forum mentioned offhand that the character designs should be the same but more detailed "since it's a feature film, not an episodic anime."
I was under the impression the whole series vs. movie was still yet to be announced.
Either way...Wee!
Update: Apparently there's a page that you have to translate where Bandai lists SAC's running time at 100 minutes. Guess it is a movie, I'm still hoping Bandai is 'toopid.

I just saw the final episode of the first season of GITS: SAC a couple of days ago. I haven't seen any of 2nd Gig yet though.
