When is Final Fantasy Seven comming out? According to the IMDB, it came out in 2004. Is it already out? Is it comming to America? Anyone have any info?

I think he means the movie. That comes out later this month, though I can't recall the exact date...

I enjoyed Advent Children even though I've never even played FF VII. My friend who I was watching it with explained who the characters were and what had happened in the game. Anyway, the film has some of the must stunning action sequences I've ever seen. I didn't realize that it hadn't been released officially in some form or another here in North America yet. I saw a subtitled version extracted from the Japanese DVD some months ago.

Yeah, the action sequences are very stunning, and the plot's not bad. There were a couple (thankfully short) parts that were just unbearably lame though. As in, if I had been a cheerleader, they would have made me reflexively jump up and yell, "Goooo TEAM!"
I remember hearing they had no plans to release it in the US (because Spirits Within did so well) but that could have changed.
