The sequel will be The Dark Knight and is projected to come out in 2008.

Will it be "Batman: The Dark Knight" or just "The Dark Knight"?

I think I prefer it without the "Batman" before it.

The article on the URL you give is dated "July 27th, 2006". And it's source is the ever popular "unnamed insider", complete with script and character content that has yet to be confirmed. Just sayin'. [Smile]

Post age isn't the issue here. It's the miscasting of Heath Ledger as the Joker, and Phillip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin.

I can see this Bat-franchise slipping into Shumacher hell already.
