The new iPod video has a capacity of 80GB, capable of either 20 hours of music or six-and-a-half hours of video. 80GB means up to 20,000 songs, 25,000 photos, 100 hours of video, or any combination of the above.
The new iPod Shuffle looks about half the size of the original design (as if that wasn't small enough). It's literally smaller than a matchbook. And it has a nifty clip, too, so you don't have to have it hanging from its lanyard or whatnot.

I don't need eight cores. I don't even need four -- two is quite suitable for my purposes (I have a dual-processor G5 tower). Still, for some reason that article got me a little hot and bothered.
Also, the new iPod nanos seem like they could prove as scratch-resistant as the old minis. If only larger iPods were so durable...

With the new version of iTunes these can now play full length movies, super exciting.
Apparently my 60 gig iPod, Ippy, just dropped 50$ in price and increased 20 gigs in memory, C'est la vie, serpents sur un avion. I'm thinking of getting a tricked-out new 24 inch iMac to take some of the slack of my PowerBook, Macky. He has to go down to Texas to get his poor little logic board fixed.

Better in what sense? It only goes up to 1GB, and doesn't play videos. I suppose it depends on what you use it for, though.

They also have a 2G version, i should have sent that link. And I was saying it was better than the non video ipods.

A cube also seems like the worst possible shape for a portable music player. Put it in your pocket, and it makes a bulge in your pants (*ahem*). Clip it to your belt, and you... have a bulge on your pants.
No, a slim design is definitely the way to go.

Well, I thought the same thing about the mobiblu originally, but then I saw it. You would have to have some really tight pants for it to show any kind of bulge. That being said, I had no desire to buy one. It seemed really flimsy. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who's not into the "smaller is better" way of mind. I like a bit of weight, so I like my 20GB Zen Jukebox.
But even I had to join the slim crowd, so I got a Zen V. It's great.
