I love the one of the water turning into the robed people chiseling the architecture.

If Escher did photography, it might have looked like this.

I think all of these are great. [Smile]

I don't understand the thread title, though. Escher did lots of color work -- my parents have several lithographs, as well as a book of his work. Color was not his predominant medium, but he did use it a fair bit.

The pictures are great. I just ordered a Rob G book for my nieces. [Smile]

I have this habit of getting books mailed to them whenever I run across something I think they'd like. At first their mother used to call to confirm it was me, but I think they just kind of assume it's from me now.
