I hate when this happens. Every now and then, a whole clump of people start dying. It's weird.
I got back from a vacation with my family last Friday, and ran into a friend that afternoon at the grocery store. He told us that a friend of ours had passed away. And that his mother wasn't doing very well. She died Sunday morning, I think. And a guy I used to go to synagogue with passed away today.
I just hope the clump is over.

No doubt! Three is always serving me questionable seafood, I dread my weekly visits to his house.

Hey, I like Three! We hang out on the weekends.
Lisa, Hang in there. Also, the idea of "death season" or "clumps" probably isn't the best way to look at things. It depresses me just thinking about it. I suggest you try to let go of those kinds of ideas and adopt something a little more optimistic.
On a lighter note, the first thing that popped in my head when I saw the thread title was "Duck season! Fire!"

My sympathies Lisa. It always seems to go that way for me too, and usually around January/February time.
