So I recently finished Little Brother, and was sufficiently entertained and impressed by the authors' writing style that I'd like to read other books he has written.

I'm looking at "Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom," or "Eastern Standard Tribe". I was wondering if any hatrackers had any suggestions.

edited for grammar.

I was swept away when I read 'Someone Comes To Town, Someone Leaves Town'. It's a very strange and interesting book. It had a lot of magic for me. (I don't mean magic within the fiction, I mean the other kind of magic.) There were some aspects of its strangeness that I really, really related to. I liked it more than 'Down and Out'; I haven't read any of his other novels.

I've only read his short fiction, but if you're interested, here, about halfway down the page are some links to many of his short stories freely available online.

Oh, and, this.

EDIT:(Oops, the link to the one at Fictionwise is not free.)

Almost all of his fiction is freely available in several formats here including audio. I've only read a couple of short stories. I enjoyed "When Sysadmins Ruled The Earth". I don't really remember what else of his I've read.
