Hey, just read that Clarkesworld is raising their maximum word count up to 8000 (from a previous max of 4000, which is still their "preferred" length). It'll be official as of the reopening of their submissions on January 15th.

Fantastic! I was just looking at my story stock and frustrated because I have a lot of 5000-6000 word stories that I think would be great for Clarkesworld. Thanks for the heads-up!
