Okay, so like usual for Wednesdays, I sent off a couple of queries for BLOOD WILL TELL.
I hadn't even gotten off the computer yet when the phone rang. One of the agents CALLED ME. She requested the full ms for BLOOD WILL TELL. Wanted to know what else I've been working on and asked to see the first chapter of MAGE STORM.

I've lately realized it's always been a kind of quantum physics thing for me...once I mail off the manuscript, it's either accepted or rejected, so it's half-accepted, half-rejected. At least until the big manila envelope turns up in my P. O. Box.

This one just might be it, Meredith. I don't think they call everyone. I really hope this turns out good.

Congrats Meredith. Regardless of the result, know that you're getting close. If you're on a full, you know that it's a matter of time before you either write the book that an agent will love or you'll find the right agent for your existing work. You've put in the work, so I hope you reap the rewards.

I'll add my congratulations, too. Whether this is the one or not, it sounds like you're very close!

Of all the people I've read here on Hatrack, I don't think I can think of one who has impressed me as more persistent than you. You were constantly posting revisions of stories, query letters, etc. I'm glad to know that your hard work is paying off.
And not to put a damper on it, but if it doesn't work out, I'm convinced that your persistence on this will pay off soon.
I tip my hat to you... at least I would if I were wearing one...
