Hey all, I'm looking for an easy reader series or two that has a spy kids feel to it. Something with three or four kids that look for clues and solve mysteries together. Doesn't necessarily have to be ghoulish or spooky like Scooby Doo.
I looked on Amazon briefly but it's too vast a venue to find what I'm looking for. At least, that's my excuse for giving up.

I asked my friend and she says her kids (6-12) really like the Sammy Keyes series. Even though it's an easy read for the 12yo, she still enjoys the funny characters and plot. Apparently it's fairly girl oriented, girl mc and all her friends.
My boys enjoyed the boxcar children, which is a more gentle kind of mystery. Also Encyclopedia Brown are always fun.

Well besides The Nancy Boys and Hardy Drew, I've heard good things about the Alex Rider series. I also think back in the day there were actually Spy Kids novels. Sorry I can't help you more it's not really my genre.

I'm guessing Enid Blyton's a bit too oldschool I read my copy of The Ship of Adventure so many times as a kid it just about dissolved away into nothing.

This might not be spy kids enough but my five year old loves the Magic Treehouse Series. They kind of look for clues but it's more a milieu story than an idea/clue story.
