When people think "online dating," they generally think of meeting people online.
But what about actually having a date where they surf the web together?
I'm doing some research regarding free online services people can take advantage of to entertain themselves (and maybe even a date) on a Saturday night.
For example:
Instead of going to a concert, you can check out an episode of All Songs Considered
Instead of going to an art gallery, you can hang out at Deviant Art.
Instead of shopping, you can browse through Threadless.
If you had to plan an online evening of fun, where would you go?
And no, this is not homework! And no, this has nothing to do with the fact that I'm too cheap to go out on real dates.

Gotta move fast -- time's a flyin' -- the mid-30's will soon pass me by.
And you are absolutely correct in needing to include those other two links. How could I forget the importance of the child's future education and the couple's final thoughts? *tsk, tsk* Shame on me. Trust a professional like yourself to keep all those nitty gritty details in line.

I would take a date to Fark.com and other humor sites. If she doesn't have a sense of humor, why bother?

I would recommend a couple of things, actually.
First, my reccomendation for a gallery setting would actually be worth1000. Excellent place.
You could always do a google hunt. Have a list of items that need to be found and the corresponding web addresses.
Instead of going to the planetarium, both can download celestia, and gaze the stars. I spent a good couple of hours on that.
I would recommend both starting a movie at the same time. Again, personal taste would be something like Firefly. Something as simple as browsing NewGrounds and linking each other to things you find would work as well.
Then you have that game site with scrabble and monopoly. Oh boy. Only if you let her win, though.

Her pic was hot, sexy and cool Was photo-shopped. I was a fool Our vid chat was all in good taste Never traveled below the waist
Until the day her camera fell And what I saw, I can not tell. Her Adams-apple, and shame on you Thinking "thingy", well I saw that too.

No, m'dear -- yourself is awesome; thrifty is a nice extra. That's what will help with those long-term plans relating to college education and retirement. *grin*
KQ -- We'll have to go shopping sometime! What great finds.
