Hobbes, did you here about the new compilation album 1979 with unreleased recordings from that year by Philip Glass and Steve Reich (and others)?

Reamonn - Star. 10PM, alone, in front of the computer, no lights in the room (died on me two days ago and I'm too lazy to get a new lightbulb),singing along...
Follow-up: Meredith Brooks - Beach Not apropriate for a guy to sing along, but hey, there's no one here to hear me !

I've discovered her through the second album, Life for rent, but the first one has some excellent music too. Apart from the well-known Here with me, Hunter, Don't think of me and Thank you, there are 3 more songs I love: All you want, Slide & Isobel.

Yes, she is, fallow. You can check some of her songs online here . I don't remember seeing biographical information about her on the site, though.

Alexa, you're soooo right: it's your opinion... I'm currently listening to Stoned, one of the few songs from her second album that I didn't like much from the start. But now...

Annie Lennox - Don't let it bring you down, from the 'American Beauty' soundtrack. I finally found something to break my Alanis Morissette & Dido addiction. And listening ONLY to this one for... two hours and a half is not an addiction. No sir...
Today I saw the movie for the first time (and not the last). And while in the beginning I was at least five times on the verge of giving up on it, I'm glad I watched it till the end. Great, I feel great...

Still listening to Todd Schaeffer. Still amazing. Might be one of the most beautiful acoustic sets I have ever heard. I think I like him better alone than with Railroad Earth.

This is one of the strongest debut albums I have ever heard. Not a bad song on it. This is a solid hard rock album start to finish. Tracks that especially stand out are The Ex, Living In The Shadows, River Below, Nothing To Lose, and Standing In The Rain.
