I had been planning on ditching my iPod Nano for a non-iPod device for some time now and last week I managed to lose it and had the excus to get something else. I'm not realy an iPod hater but my wife was using a Creative device and as I am the more technologically flexible one I figured I would change. Buying music at two online stores with mutully exclusive DRM was also becoming problematic.
So, after first ordering a Samsung device that I discovered wouldn't play my Audible files I ordered up a Creative Zen 8GB. So far I like it at least as well a my old 2GB iPod nano. Among my favorite new features: FM radio, Shuffles within a playlist, SD Card slot, and recording capability. Admittidly, it is somewhat bigger than the old or new nano but is still smaller than a full sized iPod.

I've had a Creative Zen 20 Gig for about three years now. It's the best MP3 player I've ever had. I say you've made a good choice, I hope you'll be happy with it. Posts: 681 | Registered: Feb 2004
