Hello everyone, I'm new and I would like to know if Orson Scott Card is still writting books for Alvin Maker because I bought the Cristal City during Summer time (In France because I'm french) and I can't find any News on the web and in bookstores ! I supose you guys know about it, I would also like to know if he writes a book per year or wiil I have to wait more !

IIRC, there is going to be one more Alvin Maker book. We have no idea when it will come out.

There will be one more book in the Alvin Maker series called "Master Alvin." I can't tell you when he will be writing it. He usually does write at least one book per year, sometimes more, but noy necessarily an Alvin book. In 2005 he will have two books coming out. "Shadow of the Giant" in March (the last of the Shadow series) and "Magic Street) in July (a stand-alone fantasy). What he plans to write next, I don't know.

Skysophyl - have you already read the Ender series? I would personally recommend you read that before the Shadow series...
