Hi every body ! Sorry for my poor knowledge of american language... i'll try to write the most clearly i'm able. I'm a newby from Toulouse, France. i'm 34, married, two sons (1 and 3 years old named Brieuc and Morgan). I've seen some topics that tell me Hatrack is a nice place. I'd like to spend a little time here to talk about Alvin the Maker. i'm fond (is it the good word ?) about Alvin story for it's like a mirror of my own dreams : the construction of the ultimate city, where all the humanity will live in peace... Am i an idealist ? maybe...
(please, don't blame this strange post : i really try to write in my best english !)
well, i'm gonna buy a dictionnary... kenavo !

Elfenn, welcome to Hatrack! I hope you like it here. When you feel ready, come on over to the other side of Hatrack. It's more fast paced than this side, which can seem daunting at first, but it's filled with great people.

Hey ! i'm not a norman... i'm a breton. So, this is not an invasion, it is just a travel. Or a cyberdiaspora !
anyway... don't mind about our origin and let see what make us not so different. Humanity ?
Well, i'm glad to see that i'm not the only one in France who have read OSC books... i wasn't sure about it... OSC seems to me to be a legend !

It's sad, I can speak French - but - not able to write it. Too bad for the system that screwed us. Heck, I'm going to do about it ASAP. Too many times people critisize our Valley French. I've now started asking them how come they don't speak London English when they say we don't speak the "correct" Parisian French. Do they speak London English in New York or Alabama ? Some day I will go to France - just to see where my relatives left back in the 1630's.
It's never too late.......Oui, on parle Francaise ici.
