Right, in ES the MD device produces the molecular disruption field at the focal point of two beams. However, in CotM, it's a big missile.

Did I miss something?

Without looking at the previous discussion, I just always assumed that the technology simply changed over 3000 years. Go figure. [Wink]

A missile might be considered an improvement since it wouldn't need line of sight. It could be guided.
