i was wondering if you ever visit houston. i would love to have SotG signed by you if i could ever get to the same place as you. i looked into trying to get ALL of the books in each series in hardback form at one point, and then wanted them signed by the great author himself. they would be a present to my boyfriend who would just absolutely kill me for spending so much, and then die once he realized what he had.

but SotG is my favorite in the shadow series, possibly my favorite of all the books. so . . . i could handle just having that one autographed. [Smile]

thanks for the info. if it makes you feel any better, he probably won't come here either. all the good concerts are avoiding houston this summer, why not my favorite author? oh well, we shall deal i suppose.

My agent actually has nothing to do with planning tours. She has enough to do! Tours are planned by the publicity department of the publishing company.

I'd like to go to Houston again - it's been years. But I go where the publisher thinks my visit will be most effective. I am their slave ...

it would be phenomenal if you came to houston. i have so many friends who would come to a book signing if you came here. and then i could get my much coveted signed copies of books. [Smile]

although i fear that meeting you for only a brief enough moment for you to sign my book and remain another unknown fan would suck too much. if i met you, i would want to bend your ear about your thoughts and ideas and beliefs and ask you so many questions . . . maybe it's best you don't come to houston. and shouldn't you have something to say about where you travel? when was the last time you were in houston? did you enjoy it? probably a lot has changed since you were last here. the city is spreading out like some kind of disease, but i LOVE it.
