I'm able to come to Hatrack only occasionally, but I noticed that a search on "Orson Scott Card" as a forum poster produces no results for postings in 2007. For all this time I thought he was simply silent here, until I saw the Ender book thread.

I had hoped to continue using that feature so I thought I'd ask whether it was working...?

When I look for OSC, I usually search on a blank "search words" field, and fill in the "member number or public display name" with "209" or "Orson Scott Card."

Lately, that search results in posts through 1 December, and nothing later.

Yeah, he just pops in and out of here when time permits, and I don't think OSC has posted in awhile -- which is OKAY with us, because hopefully that means he is busy WRITING!!!!

But his wife, kacard posts fairly often.

Is there a specific reason you were wanting to post directly to him? You might try the "contact" link to get message to him, in that case.

Um, he hasn't posted since Dec 1, 2006. So I don't see how the search isn't working.

What makes you think he has posted after that?
