As many others have wondered, where is OSC? No posts since December, no real project updates (particulary for the Enderverse). Where, O Where, has OSC gone?

He has a busy, busy life Teaches classes, writes books, writes columns, experiences stuff to put in the columns, directs local plays, goes on crazy trips, raises a daughter. I'm not surprised his appearances here are rare.
But they go in phases. You'll see another volley of posts sometime. Within the next couple years.

Yep, and like most people on here (except a few diehards) posting is only occasional - usually after you have read or re-read a OSC work.

You don't get over to the other side much, do you?

I don't think so -- I think that HR posting isn't in competition with his novel writing, but is in more competition with watching TV, movies, or playing Civilization.

Do we have people on the other side who post a lot?

I like to think of the weekly columns as OSC's contributions to the site. In fact, I'm going to go to imdb right now and see if I can figure out why Matthew McConaghey is famous at all. Hmm. Looks like his main box office success was in "A Time to Kill" which was a John Grisham based film with Sandra Bullock and Samuel L. Jackson. And Kiefer Sutherland. I think it's safe to say the success of that film could not be credited entirely to McConaughey's sexy sophistication.

tern, OSC quit video games a while back because they were a time sink. Just in time for my recommendation of GalCiv2 to fall on deaf ears Posts: 1539 | Registered: Jul 2004
