I am also a big fan of cryptics. If you like puzzles, don't let the incomprehensibility of them throw you -- I learned off an earlier version (I think) of the book OSC recommends. You *need* a guide to get started. Then you can move on to the British, Aussie, or Canadian daily papers. I recommend theherald.co.uk for moderate difficulty. Go for the Daily Telegraph if your ego can take it!
