I thought it was by far the creepiest of the comics (which is a good thing!) and I was fascinated too. The weird thing was I wasn't surprised when I saw OSC wrote it, and I'm not sure why. I don't think it has any specific resemblance to any of his other stories but maybe something about the comic reminded me of them.
