Hi everyone! I know similar topics have been done to death before, (like "who would play ender/petra/bean in the ender's game movie?" and stuff like that,) but I just want to know the images you guys have for each character in the series. What do you think they look like? I thought it would be fun because OSC intentionally leaves out physical descriptions in his books.
Personally, I think Ender is blonde, but not super blonde, more like dirty blonde because Valentine and Peter have brown/dark hair. I also think he's actually rather good-looking, because Peter is mentioned as being attractive and Valentine once says that the two of them look alike. But OSC doesn't say that directly because maybe he thought that would make Ender too perfect.
Valentine's probably pretty in a plain kind of way, like not too showy. I also imagined her as having wavy, long hair (in a ponytail maybe?) and freckles. Kind of like Emma Watson or Anna Popplewell.
Like I said before, Peter is good-looking and probably verging on celebrity-hot, in a youthful, boy band kind of way. Maybe like Daren Kagasoff from The Secret Life of the American Teenager. But that's just me and my imagination lol...
That's all I can think of for now. Anyway, what do you guys think?? Please don't dismiss this topic as a been-there-done-that... I'm really excited to hear how everybody pictures the characters!

Again, I suggest any illustrators put some work into this and produce an image to post on the forum. I want to see major characters including Buggers, Piggies and Jane.

Sorry, it’s a nick picky point, but that would be illustrators, not a graphic designer. A GD would take that illustration and lay it out on a page, with type and other illustrations make the whole page look good, maybe come with a logo for the cover. It's a common misunderstanding; I know most people think it's the same thing.
I will say I didn't think they would look like the comic marel did.
