Here is my concern with the new book; How in the world can we qualify the ansible connection? Consider, Bean is on a ship that HAS an Ansible; therefore Jane HAS to know about Bean; it will truly be intereting to see how this is resolved? Any thoughts?

Just because Jane "knows" at some level about Bean's ship doesn't mean that she's observed Bean or the ship at any active level. Considering also that the interface for Bean's ship is probably extremely primitive compared to all other active ansibles because it's 3000 years older. And though she might find it interesting that Bean is alive, neither Ender (or Ender in Peter) nor Bean would consider the other's possibility of being alive after so many years.
